Vikas Centre for Learning (henceforth referred to as ‘Vikas’) is one of a renowned training institutions in Bangalore city established during May 1996 by a group of qualified and experienced HRDians committed to the task of “providing HR solutions through positive intervention for achieving harmonious working conditions and enhancing productivity through imparting winning life skills and empowering multi-disciplinary mind-set to the workforce”. Vikas offers customised Training Modules to meet the specific needs of Clients.

Premise

The basic premise of Vikas is `One has to uplift oneself’. Since everything is created twice, we advocate the policy of `Clean-inside-Clear-outside’. Hence, in all our training interventions, we venture into treating the root – ‘The Person’ since only an ‘OK-Person’ can play all his roles – whether at Home, Factory/ Organisation or Society – effectively on a Win-Win note. Further, we facilitate the participants to undertake an inward journey to get to know his/her Potentials and Talents, and also his belief systems formed out of his/her Parental Directives/Injunctions. In our training interventions, Participants learn to effectively tackle their dysfunctional belief systems.

Methodology

  • Learning imparted using “I Do – I Understand” concept through subjecting Participants play relevant Games, Exercises, Case Studies, Group Discussions and Presentations.
  • While Processing the above activities, participants are encouraged to contemplate on Why, What and How of the outcome.
  • 24 Participants per training batch restriction is imposed to facilitate a high degree of interaction and experience a sense of completion having had opportunity to full express oneself and get answers.
  • 30 hours (5 Days @ 6 hrs) full dose training inputs are given in three phases on 2+2+1 day basis ensuring a minimum gap of 30 days between each of the phases to provide opportunity for Participants to experiment with the newly learnt concepts in their respective functional areas before owning the concepts.
  • Our Training modules can be compartamentalised into half/one-day modules without compromising on the quality of training impact.
  • Post-Training follow-up and hand-holding sessions are meticulously conducted.
  • Depending upon the need and the level of participants the medium of instructions – Kannada/English/Hindi/Tamil – is chosen.
